Vieux de plus de 1500 ans, le Ling Bao Nei Jing est un traité ancien qui contient la vision ésotérique taoïste du monde, ainsi que les manières d’opérer les transformations dans celui-ci.
C’est un livre résolument pratique et moderne, utile pour comprendre la formation des phénomènes dans le monde comme en soi.
Il est donc un traité de sagesse et une préparation à la mort, par la compréhension des changements internes et externes.

Le premier volume, le "Traité du Jade Parfait", nous donne cinq niveaux de secrets, avec les pratiques associées, pour accomplir :
la voie mineure du pratiquant du taoïsme ésotérique, la préparation du chemin vers Feng Du, l’au-delà
la technique de réalisation des ombres et des blocages, une vision des phases cachées de son Mandat Céleste personnel, qui est le « thème astral » taoïste ;
la vision sacrée des changements du monde, la magie associée au Yi Jing ;
l'histoire profonde des Dieux et des Géants, une vision sacrée de la création du monde ;
le contact des premiers Gui (Esprits de la Terre) et des premiers Shen (Esprits du Ciel) associés à son mandat céleste ;
la transformation de ses Ombres pour gagner des Pouvoirs : une méthode très pratique, très utile pour le quotidien, pour influencer les changements du monde par la correction de ses déséquilibres profonds.
